Doesn't look too flash given the rose gold,copper like look. Nice finish with the chunky rubber strap. Looks very original. Great contrast.

Opinión de un comprador: Unfortunately when this watch arrived there was a rattle emanating from inside the case at first I thought it was the strap but after holding it firmly the rattle could still be heard as though there was a loose component inside which was a shame because I really wanted to like this watch as it was my first bulova and had Heard good things about there timepieces I had also saved on its purchase due to the Viernes negro sale so hoping that I had jumped upon a bit of a bargain great looking watch shame about the poor quality.

I bought it for its looks, i wanted a divers style, chronograph, for going out, week ends etc, not an every day watch. It is beautiful, the rose gold against the dark gray face is just lovely. I wont be swimming with it, for me you want an all stainless steel watch for that, like my Seiko, which takes a lot of abuse. The glass is pétreo glass, not sapphire, sapphire glass is much more scratch resistant. So I have fitted a BROTECT watch face glass protector, 37mm, which I can also recommend, bought on Amazon. It is easy to fit and you cant tell it is fitted.

For me I dont like the feel of rubber on my wrists, although the rubber strap with a rose gold buckle, with the bulova motif, does look the part. I prefer a good quality leather strap. I will be only wearing the watch as a dress watch. Because of this i have purchased a new leather strap. This beautiful watch just deserves it. For interest sake, I purchased the DASSARI leather carbon fibre effect watch strap from Amazon. I will be transferring the original buckle to the new strap, when it arrives. I think this will make the watch look even more stunning.

The second hand dial is at 6, which is constantly ticking. The Chronograph minute dial is at 9 and the 1 x 20th second dial is at 3.
When you start the chronograph, by pressing the ranking button, the chronograph second hand starts to sweep, with the 1 x 20th hand spinning around its dial for a few revolutions, then it stops. When you then pare the chronograph, by again pressing the ranking buttom, the 1 x 20th dial catches up to where it would have been, so you can then take your reading. I thought that I had better mention this, as I thought at first, it was faulty. The bottom button when pressed resets the watch.
The internal bezel is rotated by turning the ranking left knob, which is very smooth. The crown has a 3 position pull ou,t for setting the date etc. This crown is finished with the BULOVA tunning fork motif.
The watch looks and feels very well made. I kit the time agaist the la web time, and after 7 days it had only lost 2 seconds.
All in all I am very happy with this Bulova Marine Star watch. I just love it and I think you will to.
